Elizabeth was such a joy to work with. She was just a little over a week old and was asleep for most of the time–snuggly as ever.
I just love the look of a newborn little girl in her daddy’s arms. Her little feet are too cute.
Look at her little pout–so smoochable.
Gosh, just so sweet. Mom let me have some newborn snuggles before they left and we all had a great time.
Sometimes, you just have to be a kid. Amongst all of the adult things that we deal with on a day-to-day basis–be a kid. It is fun to giggle, to watch a silly movie, to wear pjs all day, or to build a fort.
Travis and I both had a three day weekend last weekend and we wanted to do something fun–something different. We planned on camping in our backyard. But, the rain on Friday put a damper on those plans. So, instead
As I was falling asleep, I thought that in a few hours I would be nudging Travis to get in our bed with me. But, I also had a little inkling that wanted to be able to say that we slept in our living room fort all night. You know, on the hard ground…roughing it
We ended up sleeping the whole night in our fort and it was great! Not sure that I am going to ask Travis to set up another fort any time soon, but, I’m glad that we did it. I felt like I was a little girl have a sleep over with my best friend. I guess that is because I was having a sleep over with my best friend. Fancy that.
I hope that we continue to act like kids every once in a while. Even when we have our own kids, I want to build forts with them and have sweet kids taking up our fort.
So, don’t forget to have fun in this crazy, but beautiful, world. Build a fort or go camp in your backyard:)
Surprise, Mom! Happy Anniversary and Happy Valentine’s Day. Enjoy these photos of sweet twins Brooke & Abigail, and their older brother Trevor. Their Dad is surprising Mom with this Session for an Anniversary gift–too sweet!
We started out at Bidwell park to get a few ‘everyday’ photos of the kids playing in the park–swings, slides, more kids…they were happy.
Trevor is in his element at the park.
Trevor reading to his twin sisters–they love him.
We ended our Session in a field at the South end of Chico. Thank you to Grandma Pat, Auntie Kim, and Emily for your help!
Happy Anniversary Dennis and Andrea! You have lots to celebrate–including these three beauties. Enjoy!
One thing you might not know about me is that I am a homebody–couch, fireplace, and comfy clothes…yes please!
If I had the option of going out or staying in, most of the time I choose to stay in. However, I love having people over and hanging out with lots of friends.
Travis and I are spending this afternoon sitting on the couch doing some business. We worked with LRT Graphics to design some business cards today and are really excited to see the finished product. I work for Dennis and Andrea at LRT and they do great work.
I hope you are enjoying this change of weather and looking forward to the weekend! Just because it is raining, doesn’t mean you have to stay inside:)
Thanks for following–go jump in the puddles!
I have been reading Kelle’s blog for a few years now and it really is my favorite. She has a beautiful family and a beautiful heart–she is a phenomenal writer. Her daughter, Nella, has Down Syndrome and she is such an adorable little girl. Kelle is raising money with the National Down Syndrome Society for children with Down Syndrome and I believe in her.
Oh, and try to watch this video without crying–it got me.
Every child is beautiful.
Every child needs to feel love.
Every child deserves a chance.
If you want to help Kelle’s fundraiser, please click here. Either way, check out her blog–it really is great! You will fall in love with Nella and Lainey.
